Building Operational Excellence

Excel360: An improvement framework that helps broadcast and media companies achieve operational excellence

What is Excel360?

Excel360 is a framework designed to deliver improvements in operational delivery and efficiency. Excel360 generally uses the output and findings of Discover360 to define and deliver operational improvements and cost savings.

The primary goal of Excel360 is to improve operational performance and to reduce costs to help an organisation become more competitive and achieve operational excellence.

How does Excel360 help performance?

Excel360 is a one stop shop for improving operational performance. The framework provides a tried and tested approach to implementing improvements. The Hawk Media Partnership provides the programme management expertise, the technical and operational resourcing and a project framework. We have the necessary experience with our team of leading industry practitioners.

How do we implement Excel360?

Programme Initiation

Definition of programme goals, roles, responsibilities, scope, budget and timescale. At this stage, the financial benefits from the programme need to be clearly defined and understood. A gap analysis will often be used to clarify the current state (in terms of service quality, customer satisfaction etc.) and the desired future state.

All programme resources are mobilised, stakeholders identified and a communications plan initiated.

Programme Delivery

We work with your teams to implement the agreed changes. We use our programme management framework which includes key milestones, resourcing, financial management, risks, issues changes and actions.

Throughout the programme, we communicate with all stakeholders regularly to ensure a steady flow of helpful information and in particular avoid surprises.

Programme Review and Closedown

The programme concludes when all agreed improvements have been implemented and the originally defined benefits realised.
